Started dancing at age 4 and fell in love with dancing, especially ballet. She grew up dancing in Estevan until she successfully completed the teaching courses. She moved to Calgary to train and pursue a ballet dancing career. After 18 years, and after getting to experience performing on stage with a professional ballet company, she sustained injury and decided to retire from that career goal. Deidra’s favorite part of dance, is that students can take lessons with them throughout their life. The discipline, goal setting, how they carry themselves, feelings of accomplishment and the confidence that comes with those accomplishes.

Tara had the privilege of dancing for many years. She always danced as a kid in traditional ballet. She was introduced to the Latin American rhythms 15 years ago and ever since had many great teachers like Carmen Gonza to guide me through amazing styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Negroide and Cumbia and Soca. Tara is fantastic at choreographing high energy dance routines. She has always been passionate about dancing and she is grateful to pass this gift down to others. She can’t wait to come back to teaching with the Danza Co.
